About Northglenn

Northglenn is located directly north of Denver along Interstate 25, the major north/south highway in Colorado, which runs right through the city, as well as 104th and 120th Avenues, the major east/west arteries for the north metro area. This has made access to all areas easy and convenient, particularly, the Denver metro area, the city of Boulder, Denver International Airport and the Rocky Mountains.

Northglenn offers affordable housings which makes it a great choice for those who work in the Denver Metro area. The population of Northglenn is approximately 31,000.

The North Metro Denver area has a number of cities including: Westminster, Broomfield, Thornton, Federal Heights, Northglenn, and Brighton. They are all clean, well-planned, friendly and comfortable communities.

Northglenn is one of the youngest communities in the Denver metropolitan area. It started as a housing development in 1959. Originally named North Glenn and built by Perl-Mack Companies, the builder won national acclaim for the development. By the end of its first year, the new subdivision had a population of 500 residents. The city was incorporated in 1969, and today, Northglenn boasts the youngest and most prosperous residents for their age in the Denver metropolitan area.
