About Aurora

Aurora is one of the nations safest cities. The city of Aurora borders Denver on the east and is made up of some 275,000 residents and spans three counties -- Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas. Many neighborhoods have tree lined streets and great subdivisions for families include Prides Crossing, Sterling Hills and Mission Viejo

Golf communities range from the established Heather Gardens to the new Saddle Rock area. Piney Creek has its own parks, pool, tennis, community center and schools in a planned setting. For acreage, the Chenango and Chapparal communities are located southeast of Cherry Creek Reservoir.

As might be expected, the city's housing market offers a wide variety of choices. Smaller condominiums and townhouses can be found for less than $70,000. There are eighty parks and seven public golf courses maintained by the Parks and Open Space Department. More than 8,000 recreation programs offered annually by the Library & Recreation Services Department. Less than a one-hour drive to the Rocky Mountains.

Aurora offers comfortable suburban living, yet it also offers all the advantages of living in a major city. There are hundreds of restaurants featuring cuisine from all around the world. Shopping is always convenient with the many neighborhood shopping centers and supermarkets. Denver International Airport is about a 15-minute drive from the center of Aurora.
